Yet A(nother) Year In Seattle

Saturday January 1, 2066 - DC al fine

This morning I watched the sunrise from our suite at the resort. It's the first time in a long time I watched it from a lounge chair and not the back of my bike..

Things have changed as they always do. Another year is history and a new one is on the horizon with so many promises and ideas. I'd be lying if I hadn't started evaluating the level of emergency care available and the fact that even in paradise transportation seems to be the biggest problem.

It may sound like a busman's holiday but I've never been the type to relax doing nothing. My mind is always going and if I don't let it run-I'll never sleep at night.

In with the new, out with the old; keep your friends close and your family closer. In the end, they're all that really matter.
