The Playful Dragon is an upscale place to relax and unwind after a
long night... er day's work. Very little is known about the owners,
rumor has it that there are three of them, but nobody knows for sure.
The public owner is Minh. She's a pleasant enough lady, as long as
you play by the rules.
And the rules here are simple: No trouble. You don't start it, you
don't bring it in. If trouble happens, leave it to the professionals.
The place is slightly expensive, but the drinks, food and music are all
good and you can expect a rather peaceful evening once inside the
building. PD even features live music on Fridays and Saturdays
PD also provides private rooms and catering. Call ahead to reserve
private rooms, or tables in the main area.
Some of the folks:
Adam, he's the bartender. He's a good listener, and one of the best
drink mixers in the area. Don't know what you want? No problem,
he'll fix you up.
Beck and Ray - If you play your cards right, you'll never meet them.
They're the bouncers. They don't look like much at first glance, but
if you ever see them in action, you'll know why they work for Minh. Beck is
the muscle of the duo, relying on brute strength to handle any problems. If he can't
handle the situation, Ray can. Ray is wirery and strong when he has to be, but his
greatest skill is with the tranq gun. Nobody's beaten them yet. Most people know
better than to try.
Minh - She's usually around, sometimes down on the floor, but if
she's not there, she's probably in the office upstairs.
The twins, Becke and Rae. Secondary bouncers. Becke and Rae
usually keep their eye on Minh. One is wired to the point of rediculousness, the
other is a physical adept that matches the other's abilities. You can't really tell
which is which, I don't even know if they can anymore.
